Can your remote mouse do this?

Borrowed from Video Game Technology
I'm talking about that big silver disk in the middle of the Penta Sport remote. That's what they call the Navigation Joystick. I call it the best thing I've EVER seen on a remote mouse. Why? There's a little secret about the joystick that I didn't pickup from the User's Manual. Ok, I was fumbling around with the joystick and I noticed that it allowed me to press in on it. That's when I discovered there's more to this joystick than just X and Y coordinates. Sure enough I was on to something. It turns out the joystick has a built-in clicker!!! A clicker being the left button function on a standard PC mouse. And Why Is This Important? Let me try to explain the ramifications. It means they will have to re-write the books on modern technology (ok, maybe not all the books, but at least the ones that have to do with giving computer presentations). You see the integrated clicker on the joystick means I can advance PowerPoint* slides with the same thing that controls the mouse. Therefore, the significance is that 99 percent of the things that most people do with a remote mouse can all be done with that big easy to find silver disk.

Above is a close up shot of the Omni Directional Joystick with Integrated Click Button that is found on the new Penta Sport remote mouse. Designed for PowerPoint, but they did such a good job on the joystick that it's suitable as a general all purpose mouse.
