Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Penta Sport (Bluetooth version) long range wireless remote mouse. As you know the Penta Sport was designed to be the next generation remote for computer presentations, but they did such a good job on the joystick that it is also suitable as a general purpose remote mouse, so we welcome all customers whether they be presentation professionals or casual computer users. Please read through this user's guide before you plug the product into your computer. The user's guide is designed to be interactive in that you can suggest (via email) new topics, procedures, trouble shooting, etc. If you have any suggestions that would help improve the online instruction manual, please send them here.

Quick Start Guide

1. Insert the 2 AAA batteries that came with the Penta Sport. One Goes Up, One Goes Down - Please note that one battery goes up and the other battery goes down. Please see diagram in battery compartment that shows which battery goes up and which one goes down.

2. Plug the receiver into any available USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. The system should automatically detect the little receiver.

3. With Windows XP, you should see a new icon in the Windows task bar on the lower right side of your screen. This icon is the Bluetooth Icon

4. Now you will need to click on the Bluetooth icon with your “right” mouse button. This will display a little pop-up menu. From the pop-up menu, select the “Add a Bluetooth device” from the menu options and the following Bluetooth setup screen should appear.

5. Don’t hit the “Next” button yet. Before you hit the next button you need to

A. Turn on the “Power Switch

B. Press buttons 4, 5, 6 all at the same time. You will need to hold these 3 buttons down for about 1 second. Please refer to Penta Sport Diagram.

6. Now before you hit the “Next” button you will want to put a check mark in the box that says, “My device is setup and ready to be found”. Now you can press the “Next” button.

7. The next setup screen will start searching for a Bluetooth device. This may take a couple of minutes, but when it’s done searching it should find a device called the Presenter in the search box. Click once on the device to make sure it’s selected and then press the “Next” button.

8. The next screen will ask for a “Passkey”. The Penta Sport does not require a passkey, so simply select “Don’t use a passkey” option and then press the “Next” button.

9. The system will automatically establish the connection and you will get another screen. Press the “Finish” button.

10. Now grab the Penta Sport in your hand and press the Navigation Joystick as you watch the computer screen. If the little arrow on the screen starts to move then the installation process is complete.

Speed Adjustment

1. Press buttons numbers 4 and 6 at the same time. This will slow down the movement of the mouse (cursor on the screen).
