Penta Sport is a long range, completely wireless, remote
mouse. It features a small but
powerful receiver that
utilizes the latest RF (Radio Frequency) Technology to
provide strong, reliable wireless performance.
RF
Wireless Technology means you don't have to point the
mouse at the receiver, because it uses
Radio Waves that
travel around or through objects to find the receiver.
This means that you (the presenter) can roam around the
room freely without having to even think about the
receiver. In addition, the Penta Sport is a full
function mouse that is compatible with a standard
PC
Computer Mouse. That means you can click, double click,
and navigate around the computer screen just like you
would with your regular mouse. The bottom line is that

3 Buttons Dedicated To PowerPoint
Make no mistake. The Penta Sport
was designed from the ground up to work in conjunction with
PowerPoint Software. It has 3 buttons that are dedicated to control
specific PowerPoint functions. These buttons are located right below
the joystick. The first 2 buttons are the "Slide Advance" buttons
that allow you to move forward or reverse through your PowerPoint
slides. The third button (function key) allows you to pop up and
start your PowerPoint Presentation at the touch of a single button.
The Penta Sport also works great with Apple Keynote, Adobe
Presenter, and other Presentation Software Packages.
It's all
about the Joystick
When I first tested the new Penta
Sport Remote Mouse, I was very impressed with the
mini joystick. It has an ergonomic
design and it's made of metal with an elegant chrome finish. It
feels so nature to rest your thumb on it. In fact, you keep your
thumb resting on the ergonomic joystick for most of your computer
functions including clicking, double clicking, and advancing
PowerPoint slides. The reason for this is because the joystick
allows you to press down on the joystick itself to "Click". That's
right it's a clicking joystick! That means you can move the joystick
up, down, right, left - But you can also press down on the joystick
and you can feel and hear it click. Therefore, you can perform 99
percent of your computer functions without ever removing your thumb
off the joystick. This is a wonderful concept when giving a
presentation in a dark auditorium or if you're like me and don't
like searching for button during the middle of a presentation.

What is a Computerized Home
Entertainment Center? - That's a good question. A "Computerized
Home Entertainment Center", "Computer
Home Entertainment Center", or "PC
Based Home Entertainment Center" is basically just a
home
entertainment center (TV,
Stereo,
DVD,
Blue Ray,
VCR,
Turn Table,
Internet) that is
controlled by a
PC computer or other type of
personal computer. Now the
Penta Sport Remote Mouse is fully compatible with a
standard PC mouse. In addition, it has long range, reliable,
RF (Radio
Waves) technology. It also has a wonderfully simple to
use
Mini-Joystick, which allows you to
perform most of the PC functions without looking down at the remote.
You don't even have to look down at the remote to find the joystick,
because it is the only
big round thing located on the top
of the remote. Therefore, the Penta Sport makes an excellent
general all-purpose remote mouse and well suited as a
remote for most
Computer Based Home Entertainment Centers.

The Penta Sport Remote Mouse is compatible
with Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems. It should also
be noted that the Penta Sport will also work with most computers
that support the USB protocol. For example, the Penta Sport should
work with most Apple computers like the Apple Macintosh, Apple
PowerBook, Apple Airbook, Etc.

Now that's a good question because not all remote mice are created
equal. The Penta Sport was designed from the ground up to be a "PowerPoint
Remote". It was designed for PowerPoint. The primary
objective was to create a mouse that would facilitate the process of
giving a computer presentation. They wanted it to be long range,
simple to use, ergonomic, and to have special buttons assigned to
specific PowerPoint functions. The result of their hard work is the
Penta Sport remote mouse and it incorporates all the goals that the
engineers and designers sought after. Therefore, it is safe to say
that, Yes, the
Penta Sport is a good PowerPoint Remote. In fact, it
